DESIGN TALK: DESIGNER FOR A DAY WITH ANIER BARROS
This month we have worked together with the talented communicator Anier Barros in one of her residences to transform and solve her design doubts. She has selected our consulting and onsite shopping package to bring her ideas to reality.
The house was recently painted a white canvas with some existing furniture and others that should be replaced.
Therefore, our job was to refresh the spaces that would be used for rent. As a strategy, we recommend giving accents to the walls, selecting furniture and upholstery in natural tones to create a cozy atmosphere.
In our On-site consultation we met at the Tapize store to select the wallpapers for the living room and the bedroom where we found two impressive options, but at the same time subtle and modern in cold tones. Then we moved to looms where we opted for fabric in plain green colors and with textures for the furniture in the room that the client requested. While for the window treatment we will use a curtain with white tones to make custom curtains where we could subtly receive the sun’s rays but at the same time protect us from the Caribbean sun.
And finally, the client purchased a new mid-century style dining room from Ilumel, a chair with gray upholstery and walnut wood where we suggest a pendant lamp to have two lighting styles in the space.
